Come follow Helen and me on a North American Americana adventure—from our Vermont farm across the Midwest plains to the mountains and deserts of the Southwest, then south to Baja California, Mexico, for the winter. We’ll travel with Mexican Caravana RV tours and explore on our own.
In the spring, we’ll visit Death Valley before heading up the West Coast through California, Oregon, and Washington, visiting family, friends, and parks along the way. From there, our journey continues through British Columbia and the Yukon to Alaska for the summer.
Next fall, we’ll make our way home to Vermont and the farm, completing a twelve-month bucket-list trip in our thirty-foot motorhome, Groovy Herbie.
For us, Americana is found along the way—in small towns, farms, roadside stops, local traditions, and conversations with the people who call these places home. Our travels through Mexico, the United States, and Canada will bring different histories and cultures into the story, along with the landscapes and waterways that connect us.
We’ll share those discoveries through photographs, podcasts, and travel stories.
Join us as we follow the breeze!
